Let's meet up for an epic night of kayaking. It's 4 incredible trips in one. 1st you paddle the length of downtown during the day and then we catch the sunset over the water. Join us at Cosmic Coffee and Biergarten (121 Pickle Road) where we will kick off the festivities and then take a short 25-minute drive to San Marcos, home of the crystal clear, spring-fed waters of the San Marcos River. Unlike the murky waters of the Colorado River in Austin, the San Marcos River is a refreshing oasis where you can enjoy a lazy tube ride down the river for 2.5-3.5 hours (depending on your preferred timeline). There will be plenty of time to soak up the sun, enjoy local wildlife, and, of course, have a little party on the water. BYOB, so bring along your favorite beers and seltzers (NO GLASS CONTAINERS, please!), and leave the rest up to us. We'll have a small cooler for everyone to share. Whether you're planning a bachelor/bachelorette party or team-building event, this is a great activity for all. Private bookings are available, just ask us for details! Don't miss out on the fun! Message us if you want to book a kids experience. We will start the experience in the backyard where you will meet Ripley the house pig. You'll learn about the history of Kunekune pigs and what makes them so unique. If we have younger pigs that are living in the backyard you'll get to meet them then too. I'll have treats prepared for you to feed the pigs and you'll learn how to make them sit and get their treats. Then I'll take you to meet the adult pigs first the girls and then the boys. We have 20 pigs that make up "Halbert Herd" and their ages range from 4 months to 9 years. You'll get to feed the adults treats and they love getting attention and being petted. Most of them will lay down and want their belly rubbed. If we have piglets you'll get to spend time in the piglet pen, depending on their age, you may be able to feed them treats and when they get to be about 3 weeks old they will crawl on your lap. Other things to note Make sure to wear closed toes shoes, pigs like to chew on toes. Rain, hiking, mud boots are great options. You will get dirty and we will be outside. Pay attention to the weather and dress accordingly. Long pants work better even when its hot because we may walk in tall grass in the pastures.

We'll get comfortable in our studio barn/workshop area, where you'll grab a glass of homemade wine from our organic orchard, wildcrafted herbal tea, and/or fruit-infused spring water from our bar before we get started. Once everyone is settled with a beverage, I'll do a quick demonstration to show you the techniques and procedures for making several different styles of rings. Then you'll get busy working hands-on with different tools and materials to create your own custom, unique ring exactly to your liking. I can provide as much support as necessary to help you to feel comfortable with the process and to create your desired outcome. We'll seal/finish your ring if necessary and you'll take it home with you at the end of the session. For those who are interested, you will also have an opportunity to tour our urban homestead and be immersed in the many endeavors we have going. Other things to note: -We have free-range chickens and 2 outdoor farm cats. At the Candle Bar, you will have the opportunity to learn a new skill and create 2 unique one-of-a-kind candles. Come pull up a chair and we'll serve you a drink of your choice (red or white wine, or a local beer). Take in the beautiful aesthetics of the store and make something special for someone special...or simply just yourself. Here you can take a piece of Houston back home with you. We'll start off by teaching you the process behind making your own personal candle and the science behind building a fragrance. Then we'll walk you through building your own fragrance. Once we've completed that, we will guide you through making and pouring your own candle. While the candle is drying, feel free to shop at Forth & Nomad, or relax on our beautiful, wooden patio under our historic oak trees. Please allow up to 3 hours for your candles to dry before taking them home. You can also pick up your candles at another time. We can host up to 8 people per class. Each ticket buys 1 person one seat. We cannot split candles between two people. Alpaca Walk and Talk - guests lead an alpaca during a tour of the farm as we discuss alpaca native origins, care, and use of the fiber. This intimate sound bath experience is exclusively for those seeking a unique escape away from the city. Just 1.5 hours outside of Dallas, Camp Discovery offers beautiful scenic walking paths amongst the immense trees of Hopkins County. As guests enter our family campgrounds they will be transported to a place of serenity. Guests will only need to bring water + wear comfortable clothing as we will have everything beautifully prepared for a relaxing outdoor sound bath experience (mat, light blanket, and pillows). Guests will park in a designated area and will be greeted by our certified Sound Healer. Our healer will lead our guests to the yoga deck where the ceremony will take place for the next 1.5 hours. Before entering the sound healing space, our Sound Healer will cleanse each guest with sage, juniper, or incense. Once everyone is cleansed, guests will find their seats on their beautifully arranged mats. Once they settle and get comfortable, the healing session will begin with a short mediation to amplify the experience. After the sound healing session concludes, the sound healer will give time for guests to share what they saw, felt, and/or experienced. At Southern Trails you will enjoy a genuine Texas experience! There's no better way to explore the Hill Country than on horseback. Misti and I will take you on a scenic, guided horseback ride, show you the reins, and ensure you have a fun experience. First, we will pair you with one of our highly trained and lovable horses! (Whiskey, Bear, Mississippi, Comanche, or Dolly!). Next, we will have a brief lesson where you will learn to stop, turn and ride the proper way on the trails. Then we will head out and take an hour trail ride through the beautiful hill country. We will ride through trees, up hills, down hills. We will pass some creeks and ponds and even a graveyard dating back to the 1700’s! The graveyard is said to hold the relatives of Davy Crockett as well as some other heroes from Texas history! We will stop to take a couple pictures along the way! If you have younger children please call and ask about "Little Dude Ride." It is perfect for kids and families that aren’t quite ready for the hour trail ride. We want everyone to be able to have an awesome horseback riding experience. Hosted by clean, coastal-inspired fragrance company, Malibu Apothecary, guests can either participate in a group or private experience (contact us) to create a custom scented candle with their own personalized label! Ready to shape your own cup? Join us for a two hour pottery experience and learn your way around the potter's wheel as your shape your own unique bowls, cups and vases with the help of your host. In our two hour experience, you will shape 2 to 5 pieces. Want to do it with some friends? We can take up to 8 people at a time. Go on a walking, cocktail tasting, tour of downtown Austin! We'll stop and talk about several hidden-face speakeasy style bars - some stashed inside parking garages, behind bookshelves, down alley ways, pass-code and password protected, and private clubs! We'll get you into three where we can order drinks! Meet downtown and we'll sit and chat for a few minutes at introducing ourselves and what it means to call a bar a speakeasy in Austin, TX. Then, we walk to the first bar. All the bars are located downtown within a few blocks of each other. We'll spend 30-45 minutes in each of three bars, having drinks, learning about the place, and appreciating the aesthetic. Throughout the night we will continue on past a total of seven hidden-face speakeasy style bars, stopping in some and just stopping to talk about others. The night ends once you get into the third and final bar and get your drinks ordered. We do not to include drinks to give you a lower price and more choice. We will have a group tab which can be paid for via cash, Apple Pay and Cash App. Prices vary by venue but $15-25 per drink (including a 20% tip) is a good ballpark.
