A great place to eat different dishes with friends & family with different marketstands serving all kinds of different foods. For thirsty people there's a coffee stand, a beer hall, a cocktail bar and a special wine bar too. There's s a terrific brunch on Sunday and regular events from comedy, poetry, tastings, fleamarkets etc.

Located right next to Basel Train Station (SBB), Markthalle is a lively place to be for a quick bite or group of friends. It has many food stands and the prices are quite reasonable. It opens everyday and on many days it opens until after midnight. Don't forget to try the awesome slide next to the escalator!
