Explore Dazzling Architecture Interiors of the Chicago Loop
Take the architecture tour voted #1 by TripAdvisor users! We will be taking a leisurely 2-hour walk exploring some of the most beautiful and often overlooked buildings in downtown Chicago, both outside and inside, and learning about the most important and interesting parts of Chicago's architectural history. Visitors often don't know where to go, or even where they're allowed. This experience takes them inside places they'd never even consider, to show off more than 100 years of architecture as it developed here in the Windy City -- including stunning stained glass, atrium-like spaces, 19th century skyscrapers, and more! Great tour for photographers and travel buffs!
Some things to note:
Bring a camera -- this is an AWESOME way to practice your architecture photography! Also, dress for the weather, and if it's raining, bring an umbrella.

Chicago Bike Adventures
We'll meet at my bike loaner HQ in the heart of Chicago's Wicker Park where we'll discuss the day's ride and get comfortable riding together. Then, I will lead you on a 4 hour custom bike ride through several Chicago neighborhoods. We'll ride under the historic "L" train, visit several of the city's neighborhoods (historically diverse and modernly hip), get a taste of Chicago's craft beer scene (if requested) and see Chicago's wide range of architectural styles and oddities, parks, 1920s gangster related sites, great skyscraper views, movie locations, cluster of early 1900s movable bridges, and street art. No tour will be the same as it will be adjusted according to your responses to the pre-ride questionnaire.
** I have a small number of older model loaner bikes available for people who do not have one their own. If you prefer to rent newer bikes I can offer some suggestions.**
***As a general rule, unless the next day forecast is for all day thunderstorms, we wait until the morning of to make the final call to cancel. I don't normally cancel the ride if just a shower or two are forecasted. Sometimes we have coordinated with all riders to move the time up or back an hour to avoid bad weather. If a downpour does come during a ride we can wait it out over a snack or a brief look inside a place.***

The tour shall start under the dazzling Chicago Marquee (best known for the sign that appears in the film Chicago), before heading to the Chicago Pedway, a network of concourses, bridges and underground tunnels that locals use to get around the centre of the city. It’s the best place to escape the cities cold winters! Next, discover City Hall, where you can observe its beautiful architecture and classic interior design.
Indulge in some traditional Chicago-style popcorn, before you stroll along the Chicago Riverwalk. Discover the city’s soaring skyline and most well-known buildings such as Marina Towers and the Willis Tower, before sampling another sweet treat from a local eatery.

Paella is a traditional Spanish dish make with proteins, spices and rice, and fideua is another dish with the same beginnings, the change is that in here we use seafood, and fideo (noodles), instead of rice.
Then you are ready to enjoy your dishes.

Spray 'n' Sip- Street Art & Aerosol Workshop
1. Guests join us at our space Studio W.I.P. and dive into the world of spray paint and urban art. All instruction is done by local artists. Each guest will go home with their very own piece of the mural to remember their night.
2. Upon entering guests can relax and enjoy our ever changing gallery. Feel free to bring a beverage. It's BYOB! Guests will unleash their inner street artist on a 50ft wall! This interactive workshop will turn guests into the artist and be guided along the way. Experimenting with lettering, stencils, aerosol, & cap technique guests will experience something truly unique.
3. Our main objective is to break down stereotypes that often are connected with spray paint. Guests will leave with curiosity and basic skills when applying aerosol to boot.
Signature Scent Creation
upon entering Aroma Workshop in Chicago's Lincoln Park guests are given a card to indicate which scents from our "Scent Bar" they like, then a friendly Perfumer expertly blends scents on tester strips for the guests to sample. When their favorite is picked it goes into a choice of 2.2 oz. bottles.
They can even name it and we are BYOB.
Couples, Mothers Daughters, Best friends all have fun creating scents together.

Bikes, Bites & Brews-Signature Bike Tour
Working up an appetite won’t be a problem on this tour! We’ll be sampling from each of Chicago’s four favorite food groups — pizza, hot dogs, brownies and beer. You’ll learn the history behind the foods that made Chicago famous and also get a taste for some of Chicago’s most popular neighborhoods as we cruise through Streeterville, the Gold Coast, Lakeview, Wrigleyville and Lincoln Park during the day. While our evening tour covers the same foods, we stick to the downtown city attraction scene. Come taste the best of Chicago pizza, snacks, and beer while having a blast on two wheels! This tour is intimate and interactive so get ready to thrift with folks who's tastes and lifestyles are completely different from your own. Making new friends is encouraged! You've always wanted to learn how to dance salsa...so here's your chance! You will learn the fun basics of salsa. We will also apply those salsa basics into a fun partner pattern that will have you looking good and feeling good. Join with your partner, friends, family, or even alone. This experience is great for groups, great for couples, and team building!
At the end of class, we will do a fun recording of you dancing salsa so that you can show all of your friends. You will know the salsa basics well that you can dance it anywhere in the world.
Underground Pedway & Secrets of the Loop Walking Tour
Discover a part of Chicago only known by locals -- our miles-long system of underground tunnels known as "The Pedway." This engaging adventure pops you in and out of beautiful buildings, familiarizes you with the most interesting parts of the Pedway, and shows you the best hidden details downtown that people walk by every day. This is not a typical "must-see" tour for typical tourists -- it's a "must see" experience for travelers who want something BEYOND what's typical.
The first half of our tour will include an introduction to Chicago's famous "Pedway" -- the mysterious system of tunnels downtown that keeps us all warm & dry in bad weather. Walking under entire blocks, we'll access interiors that seem to come up out of nowhere, hidden corridors of stained glass and more. We’ll then exit the Pedway to see some "secrets" hidden in public art and gardens, a tiny building you'll miss if you blink, a beautiful interior filled with marble and light, and one of the best places to buy Chicago-themed books.
Guests should be prepared to be on their feet for about 2 hours. It is an easy walk, but still -- it's a little bit of exercise, and please be aware that there are a few sets of stairs!

Chicago's Underground Donut Tour
On this tour, you'll join me as we explore the city and food culture through the medium of donuts. You'll learn about the history of Chicago, each donut location, how they fit into the larger food scene, as well as try some amazing donuts. We start from Doughnut Vault where we try some of the best donuts you've had in your life. Next we'll stop by Firecakes donuts to try a few of their seasonal flavors. Followed up with Stans Donuts near Michigan avenue and finally, we end at Do-Rite Donuts where they have both delicious donuts and fried chicken (if you want to get nuts at the end of the tour). Offbeat Street Art Tour of Logan Square
Guests will walk through the Wicker Park, Bucktown, and Logan Square neighborhoods learning about the numerous murals and street art installations in the area. From back alleys to public parks to permission walls (where anyone can create street art) we'll educate you and teach you about each of the artists, what inspires them, and the themes throughout their art. This walking tour takes place over 2 hours and walks about 2 miles, so make sure you are ready to get your steps in.
West Loop Pizza Crawl
You'll explore the rapidly changing West Loop via four pizza places. Your experienced doughcent will meet you at Lou Malnati's where you'll get your lanyard/badge, then learn about 10 styles of pizza in Chicago. You'll have a proper Chicago deep dish, a classic stuffed or Sicilian slice, an assortment of Roman al taglio slices, and finally a thin and blistered Neapolitan.

Chicago HandCraft Beer Expedition w/ Homemade Guacamole
We'll explore FIVE (5) of our favorite, HANDCRAFTED LOCAL MICRO BREWERY’S in two special locations of the historic, Chicago landmark district, Fulton Market; used to be the Meat Packing District, now becoming the Chicago Brewery District.
Here you'll experience the fabulous, intricate world of the art of beer creation. We will all meet at the first one, introduce ourselves and try some DELICIOUS APPETIZERS; where Carla will make a special Homemade Guacamole and Homemade Tortilla chips and here, the first 3 handcrafted beers (total of 15-20oz beers) is on us. Then we'll walk to the other breweries where you'll have a chance to order other beers and serve your own. Here you can stay AS LONG AS YOU WANT after the tour. During our expedition, we can all share our opinion about the flavors, the creation, etc....
