We will start the experience on a walking tour to the point where we will start a descent down a stairway to a dry cenote, there we will see some varieties of local plants, we will know their use and importance, we will enter the vault of the cenote where we can see some Local bee varieties in their wild state, it should be mentioned that bees do not sting because they do not have stings. Later we will walk through a path in the jungle where we will identify the main plants for the production of honey. We will arrive to our meliponario where we will talk about the process of honey coke, we will know about the other products of the comena as well as their health properties and we will even be able to open a beehive to observe the amazing architecture of the bees. We will make a tasting of honey and other products of the hive. And finally we will visit our small store of honey and souvenirs. Self-driving experience! Upon your arrival at our meeting place your guide will take you through the ancient ruins of Coba. The visit includes cycling or taking a Mayan limousine to explore the site. After that, you’ll drive 20 minutes to one of the most secluded and crystal water cenotes run by local families, here you’ll learn the importance of these magnificent places to the communities. We continue learning more of the culture visiting a local family that opens the doors of their home to even cook for us a very traditional lunch. You’ll be able to practice the ancient technique of making tortillas. We conclude our amazing day at our favorite nature reserve where a xaman welcomes us before hiking in the jungle to look for some wildlife like spider monkeys. A walk will also take you to an incredible view of the lake zip lining 250 meters above. Canoeing will be the way to come back and finish this authentic experience.

The sanctuary of the honey with chocolate experience will begin with experts who will give you indications about the experiences that you will have today.
