This utterly delightful Georgian cottage sits beside the most beautiful area of Aldeburgh Beach. Perfectly positioned in a sunny spot, tucked just off Aldeburgh High Street, and only steps away from the wooden stairs that access the breathtakingly beautiful sea and shingle beach. Decorated to the highest specification, The Chocolate-Box features a roll-top bathtub, bespoke kitchen, cosy fireplace and a wonderful old oak dining table, a mahogany writing desk and sun-trap courtyard. The large master bedroom is supremely comfortable and a pretty twin room is perfect for additional guests. MASTER BEDROOM: The master bedroom is spacious and peaceful with two tall seaside windows catching the coastal light through the changing phases of the day. GUEST BEDROOM: The guest bedroom is furnished with 2 small single beds (190cm L x 80cm W x 40cm H) made of a solid oak wood frame and quality hypoallergenic mattresses and superior bedding. The Chocolate-Box is located in the quaint seaside town of Aldeburgh which is nestled along the picturesque Suffolk Heritage Coast. Aldeburgh is situated on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Beautiful countryside and villages surround the town. Art and music festivals are held throughout the year. For up to date and detailed information on getting around by train, bus, taxi services, and tours, The Aldeburgh Tourist Office is the best source for information. They are very friendly and helpful. DIRECTIONS AND PARKING Arrive in Aldeburgh from any direction and drive south along Aldeburgh High Street, past the Fish & Chips shop. Turn left onto Hertford Place and Brudenell Street will be the first street on the right just before you reach the sea. PARKING There is very good availability of free on-street parking in this area of Aldeburgh, even in peak seasons. Typically, parking is available within 10 seconds from the cottage front door. (Easter, May, Spring, Summer bank holidays and 4 days of Aldeburgh Carnival in August are the exception and one may need to park 1-5 minutes from the cottage). Please call or message Sophie for favourite parking spots. The on-street parking is free, unlimited time and the usual parking rules apply.

Stylish seaside flat on Aldeburgh High Street

Our super apartment is two minutes from the beach and great restaurants and shops, right in the centre of the outstandingly beautiful and unspoilt seaside town of Aldeburgh. Our place is ideal for couples and families (with children) as we have a lovely double bedroom and a sofa in the large sitting room with plenty of space for a comfortable night's sleep for one, and a spare occasional bed. It also has a large kitchen/dining room with ample space to sit, eat and listen to the seagulls.
