Unwind at this unique island getaway in a newly-constructed, dry cabin on the pristine beach of Hesketh Island, a short boat ride from Homer, Alaska. Watch epic sunsets, ocean views, volcanoes, eagles, otters, whales, seabirds, and other marine life from the wall of windows of the cabin. Enjoy your morning beach stroll with coffee in hand, kayak, paddle board, beachcomb, relax in the hammock, yoga on the beach, hike, sit by a bonfire, sleep to the sound of waves and enjoy this retreat!

Sleep to the sound of the sea! The Surf Shack on Hesketh Island is perfect for a small family or a couple and is glamping at its finest. It sits in the trees, 30 feet from the beach, overlooking the water and Yukon Island. This is a remote island property and can only be accessed by boat. We provide water taxi transport with True North Kayak Adventures. Pricing is $70/adult and $40/12 and under, round trip. Kayak and SUP trips are also available as well as rentals.

Spend the night in a gorgeous, hand-hewn house perched atop the cliffs of Hesketh Island. Sea kayak around the islands, hike the Grace Ridge Trail, sauna or relax on the beach or deck. The house can be rented in conjunction with the Surf Shack and wall tents for larger groups. This is a remote house on an island. Our water taxi provides transportation across the bay; $70/adult, $40/kids under 12. The boat departs at 3pm or 4pm from Homer (sometimes this can be flexible). Pick up is at 11am.
