We will meet outside the museum building at the South Gate. After a brief background into the history and development of the museum, we will go upstairs into the painting galleries and take in defining works from:  The Italian Renaissance and Baroque,  Flanders and Holland,  Tudor, Stuart, Georgian and Victorian Britain  The French Impressionists  British Art of the early Twentieth Century. During this journey you will encounter works by Veneziano, Botticini, Titian, Canaletto, El Greco, Rubens, Brueghel, Hogarth, Gainsborough, Millais, Monet, Renoir and more. This format can easily be customised for those who would like to look at particular areas of interest in greater depth. I will use a more ‘art-historical’ approach – however, no prior knowledge is assumed nor required. While it is true that visitors will see less of the collection as a whole they will be able to get deeper ‘under the skin’ of the chosen works. As well as paintings, the Fitzwilliam Museum has an excellent collection of artefacts from Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and beyond. I can easily put together a tour for visitors who would prefer to look at and talk about these objects and art from antiquity. I MAY WELL BE ABLE TO DO TOURS ON DATES OTHER THAN THOSE ON THE CLANDAR. There are facilities for securely storing coats, bags, etc. Please note that back-packs should either be stored or carried by hand in the galleries.

Stand up paddleboarding Lessons are 2 hours long and start off with local knowledge, understanding of local weather & tides. Then onto general water safety and theory of the sport and then we start the practical paddleboarding experience and power paddling tuition. Once up and riding we can go on a local beach tour. Each lesson, we are building more and more skills covering greater distances and local experiences. If you can already stand up paddleboard you can just hire equipment from us and do your own thing. Before June 30th and after September 1st you will need a wetsuit. We prefer you to have your own wetsuits. If you dont, we have new winter wetsuits, that we can hire to you for £10, if you dont have your own wetsuit and need to hire please email us you waist, height, chest size and we will reserve you a wetsuit. We will make together fresh pasta and gnocchi. I will provide pasta flour, eggs and potatoes. If you want, you can be free to use different kinds of flours (white, chestnut, chickpea...) and to prepare gluten-free or vegan (without eggs) pasta. To roll out the dough we will use the rolling pin and the pasta machine. For an extra price of £10 we can cook the pasta and eat together, I will provide a nice sauce (only after Friday's class). The UNIQUE thing about us is ANYONE can do this session, from the fittest able-bodied athlete to someone with very restricted physical ability-everyone can get something from this session. Try it and see-I WILL challenge you and I guarantee you will push your boundaries in a positive way!! A unique opportunity to box alongside me, a former British and European Boxing Champion, teaching you new exercise skills you won't have tried before. Also my session is open to those with a disability. I have experience in adapting sessions to all abilities having set up Able2B-a service set up to provide fitness and strengthening opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. My class can also be done lying, in bed, in a wheelchair, seated or standing (with or without support) so all members of a household can get involved whatever their ability and still get a great workout. Great for groups and corporate team-building too. Other things to note Our experience can be adapted to even those with very significant limitations so please give it a try even if you think you can't do it or it will be too much!!! Your University of Cambridge graduate guide will meet you at the entrance of King's College on King's Parade in the centre of Cambridge. We will then begin our 90-minute walking tour around the city and famous University Colleges. You will learn famous Cambridge anecdotes including how the university was founded and which famous Alumni have passed through the college gates. We will cover approximately 9 university colleges with entry inside Pembroke College and the backs of Trinity College. Your guide is a current student or graduate of the University of Cambridge who will share insights from their time as a student and will be able to explain how the Oxbridge application process works.
