The Old Corn Crush a country barn 1 mile to Amble

Short breaks available This barn was where the harvested corn was “crushed’ to prepare feed for the working horses, cattle and the sheep on the farm. Today the original “crush” and a sheep trough stand on display outside in the courtyard. The accommodation is set out on one level. with just one slight internal step. Because of the location of this barn the area does not suffer from any light pollution and as such on clear nights you can experience some truly breath-taking dark sky stargazing.
