Drive down the loop road or walk down the steps or take the elevator! At the bay you can walk through the gardens, along the boardwalk through the sand dunes and down to the beach. You can visit a bird avery and talk to the parrots. Casual sporting facilities include a skate park, tennis courts, bike polo courts, rollerskating rink, beach volleyball and frisbie golf plus there's an extensive wide open spaces for flying a kite. Often carnival and festival events are held here.

Parks & Nature

This large park has several walkways easy and difficult. There are mountain bike tracks and an epic little space for BMX bike tricks. There is vehicle access through the middle with a carpark near the small lake.

A long term restoration project has had hundreds of native plants planted by volunteers to improve the water way. It's not flash but it's full of wildlife and you can walk across the train tracks right down to the beach which is usually fairly empty of people but full of driftwood.
