Sightseeing

The Cannonball House is a Greek Revival mansion built in 1853. This was the only structure in Macon struck by a cannonball during the Civil War in 1864. Listed on the National Register of Historic Homes, the house features a Civil War museum as well as furnishings from the Wesleyan College meeting rooms of Alpha Delta Pi and Phi Mu sororities.
