The pueblo culture is the strength and soul of New Mexico. Historic, and rich in tradition, this is the place to learn about the real New Mexico. Native dancers come in every weekend at noon, as well as other events held during the rest of the week. For a treat, eat at the café, which boasts the best chile relleño in town!

This little gem is a tucked away piece of history in the less traveled south valley of Albuquerque. Home of the Gutierrez-Hubbell family, this is one of the original establishments in New Mexico and served as a trading post and farm for over a century. Definitely worth seeing: part of the old farm, along with the irrigation ditch are still in use. A great place for kids to run around!

Farina Alto is my favorite place. It's a drive away, across town to the NE Heights, but, not very far. They have wonderful food with a fresh, italian style, though healthy and innovative.
