Gluten Free pizza crust that doesn't taste like cardboard!! If you have a GF individual in your group - there are tasty options galore at Old Scratch. Their specialty is traditional Neopolitan pizza made with fresh and local ingredients. Order from a counter, then choose your drink from a large array of craft beers on tap. Find a seat inside or out at one of the long rows of picnic tables. (seating is European beer hall style/table sharing) Very popular with the UD family crowd.

Unfairly disparaged for it's age, this is the only real supermarket downtown. So what if the decor is urban/funky? You can get all the basics here - and then some, plus beer and wine.

The brothers who were the first to solve the problem of controlled, powered flight grew up and lived in Dayton. This National Park site includes their childhood home and a replica of their bicycle shop. The small, focused museum is a great choice for a half-day outing, with kid friendly exhibits and a super restaurant (Texas Beef and Cattle Co) right across the street.
