For Families travelling; The highlights for George would include a trip on the Outeniqua Powervan, head up the mountain after visiting the Transport Museum, enjoy views of the Montagu pass and the 7 tunnels. The Redberry Farm for Strawberry Picking, maze running and paddle boating. To the North enjoy the Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn & our National Monument the Swartberg Pass. Heading East we recommend Knysna Elephant Park, buy a bucket of food and feed the Ellies, Birds of Eden, Monkey Land and Jukani is a must do! To the West enjoy Mossel Bay, take a boat trip to Seal Island, visit the Diaz Museum and walk the St Blaze trail towards the lighthouse.
Make sure to secure a seat on the popular Powervan - Try to sit on the front 3 seats of the biggest van, or the backseats of the last van (you will be in front when the train turns back!).

The Knysna Elephant Park is situated 10 km’s outside of Knysna on the Plettenberg Bay road. Tours start every half hour. Buy a bucket of food and feed these beautiful giants! Worthwhile visiting this Park because elephants are indigenous to SA and particular to the Garden Route.
