Great place to rent kayaks in the summer, especially with children. Easy to kayak and just long enough to keep it interesting, but not too long. Beautiful scenery!

We love this lake for it's sheer beauty, boat rentals and a good 3 hour tour! There is an easy hiking trail around the lake or you can rent a boat and enjoy some good fishing with a picnic!

Be Cautious of Area Bears
Please close the 1st floor windows of the house when leaving even for a few hours and in the evenings. We have had a bear visit in the kitchen one summer morning. It took off the exterior screen, climbed in the open window, ate a bear claw pastry (no kidding) and left!
