Our absolute favorite local
Indian take out (and looks even better to eat in). Creative takes on Indian cuisine - Michelin bib we understand coming their way - and super convenient to order from and pick up. Food is flavorful but not super spicy.

Cycling and Scooting
Two wheels are the quickest way to make most journeys in DC. There are numerous services available - Capitol Bikeshare and Lyft amongst others. Make use of the excellent bike lane network and ride safe :)

Uber or Lyft are great alternatives to parking
Parking can be tricky (and expensive) in DC, especially around the mall, downtown and other popular built up areas. To avoid the hassle, consider Lyft or Uber.

Parking with your phone
Avoid the quest for quarters and download ParkMobile. This makes it easy to pay for street parking in most of the paid parking areas of DC - just look for the zone code and away you go!
