Sightseeing

Point Amour Lighthouse is one of the premiere attractions in the Labrador Straits and for that matter the entire province. At 125 feet it is the tallest lighthouse in Atlantic Canada and second tallest in Canada and is opened seasonally, generally from Mid-May to early October. You can climb the stairs to the top of the tower or take a tour of the attached lightkeeper's residence. The site also has a coastal trail to the famous Raleigh shipwreck with interpretive signs. A definite must see and do for any visitor to the region!
