Lake Brownwood State Park offers a variety of activities throughout the year. There are beaches for swimming, hiking trails, historic sites and great views of the lake. Railroad Museum Exhibits include a variety of railroad memorabilia and equipment, photos and stories of early railroads while vividly interpreting the importance of the railroad to this area and American life. Also on display are running model trains of every size. Mini-Train The Mini-Train operates every Saturday from 10 to 3, weather permitting. Both adults and children can ride, only $2 per person. Children's Play Area The children’s play area offers hands-on fun for kids. Open all night, soldiers would find rest here when hotels were all full. Fully renovated, our store is now home to gently used and new books. This is a space to find a new book to read, make new friends, and where real stories are shared! Come pause with us.
