Macon Local Food Scene
Below are local Macon restaurants that I would recommend. These restaurants range from fine dining to casual.
This is a local high end Italian restaurant. Great for a special occasion. Will probably cost $40-$70 a person with appetizer, entree and desert and depends on entree selected and drinks. The white chocolate bread pudding desert and the fried calamari appetizer are really good. Reservation required.

About 2 miles from the Cottage on Moseley Dixon Rd. Located on Lake Tobesofkee with great lake views. Serves seafood and smoked/bbq meats and is why the name is Fish N' Pig. Has reasonably priced good food and on the better weather month weekends has a live band under the covered outdoor area with an outdoor bar. Fun place to go with a casual atmosphere that is family friendly and only a short drive back to the Cottage.

Known for the hot dogs and fries for lunch but has a good burger too. I always get two hot dogs all the way (chili, onion, and mustard). Real cheap. Close by. Open 5am-5pm everyday except Friday and Sunday.
