My Favorite Places To Be Out

A late night staple. Not exclusive to Merced, but still a great nostalgic place for me growing up. The cheese burger is good, consistent and cheap! My kind of place.
It's a friendly atmosphere for people in their 20's, 30's and up. Very diverse groups and the drinks are affordable. No cover, unless a band is playing which is kind of rare. Solid, no judgement bar.

A farmer's market in a farming community. You know the prices are fair and this area is littered with traditional Mexican food alongside a flea market that sells just about everything. Go here for food, buy groceries, and take a walk around. Maybe you'll find something useful.

Lyft and Uber are Available

They are not as prevalent as other big cities like SF, but they are there. It's typical you may wait between 10-15 min. You will see the same driver's pick you up often. Also, after 2AM getting a ride may not be possible due to shortage of drivers.

The Saturday Farmer's Market is a Must!

Google Famer's Market to find the Merced Farmer's Market location (Also a Flea Market). It's great for food deals and you get to meet, see and taste the local flair. Lots of food stalls selling Mexican Food and some Asian Cuisines.
