Great destination to walk, cycle or jog to from my condo. Its a 10km round trip (5km there & 5km back to my condo). Just head west along the seaside road of Point Grey Rd & follow to the Royal Sailing Club & Tennis Club, passing onto the beach pathway this will take you all the way to Kits Point. If you were to continue up the road that will take you to UBC, endowment parklands & the only nudist beach in BC.

Kitsilano is all around my condo, it's such a great neighbourhood. Small beach village vibe, with cafes, pubs, restaurants with outdoor patios overlooking the beach and best place to watch a westside sunset. Outdoor swimming pools, outdoor free tennis courts abound! Beach trails, sandy beaches and parks galore. Seriously the BEST neighbourhood in Vancouver! and in my opinion in all of Canada :)

Downtown Vancouver is just a 3-5 min drive! you can even cycle to it or roller blade to it! Follow the Point Grey Rd trail heading east along the beach paths, past Kits Pool hug the coastal path and you can go up over Burrard Bridge which crosses over False Creek and takes you into downtown. This takes about a 10-15min bike ride, 20-30min rollerblading. You can also just continue under the Burrard Bridge along the coastal Creekside pathway and this takes you into Grandville Island Market, fabulous area for shopping local food & craft market, cafes, restaurants & hotel lots of patio outdoor seating area. You can also continue along the path and it will take you all around through Olympic Park, False Creek and around and over to Yaletown Marina, and this entire pathway continues to the West end and all around Stanley Park. I have biked this and also rollerbladed this entire loop back home to the condo over Burrard Bridge, its about 30km return trip (Bike, Skate or walk)

Cool area of downtown Vancouver. Its an old warehouse district that has been regenerated into chic restaurants and shops. Great place to dress up and go out for cocktails. Take a taxi or uber: 10min drive so inexpensive to do. Daytime you can cycle over to it, or take the local transit bus to the first stop over Burrard Bridge, then walk 10min. Good cafes and creekside pubs.
