Silent Day (Nyepi)
This day starts from 06.00am to 6.00am. On this particular day people have some restrictions. To mention some, no light, no working, no entertainment or pleasure, no traveling. In fact the Airport in Bali is close. The only people to be seen outdoors are the Pecalang, traditional security men who patrol the streets to ensure the prohibitions are being followed.
