Exchanging Money
Exchanging money can be done at any of the local banks, however if you want to save make sure to exchange your money at Mauritius airport. This way you get a fair rate on priority. You can use US dollars at certain establishments but you should exchange most of it especially if you will be taken the road less travelled.
