The Neighborhood and getting to the Umatilla Nat’l Forest
Most of the property around the cabin is private property. Across the road from the cabin is also our property. You are more than welcome to walk your dogs, or throw the ball for them in the field. The road that goes up from the cabin is a dead end. It doesn't go to far up. The road (Mill Rd) below the cabin is also a dead end, it probably goes 1/4 mile to the end.
To get to the Umatilla Nat’l Forest go back the way you came in and turn right at the “Y” (where the Newspaper boxes are). Continue on West Mountain road up into the forest. Probably about 15-20 minutes.
