Renamed 1929 Dining and Lounge this year. By far our favourite place to eat and drink in the area. The food is amazing and a wide variety of types is offered. They have vegan options as well. Currently can take groups of 4 outside and 6 inside if the same household. Open for dine in, pick up, carry out and will let sealed alcohol containers be taken as carry out (wine and beer).

Wonderful little restaurant. Probably the best wine selection in the area. Usually very busy though so making a reservation is best!

Currently the spa is closed. The Elkhorn also offers horseback riding but there is also a bar/restaurant. Great variety of food! Can currently accommodate groups up to 6. Closed alcohol bottles available for carry out (beer and wine).

Wildlife Sightseeing
We recommend the drive through the park towards Dauphin. Each time we’ve made it this year we have seen 4-9 bears and at least one moose. Most of the animals are active in the morning (before 11) or afternoon (after 6). They tend to be more prominent once you get past Moon Lake nearer to the Dauphin park entrance.

One-way Hikes
A few of the hikes are one way. You start and end very far apart. In previous years, it’s usually possible to hitch a ride back to your car but with Covid-19 that is nearly impossible. We do offer a drop off service at the start of the hike for our renters to help with this problem.
