Free admission. If you really want to find out about Glasgow's history and its people, the People's Palace is a great place to visit. A good-sized museum with fun interactive exhibits, paintings, photographs and artifacts. Also home to the pretty Winter Garden, a glasshouse with exotic plants. There is also a café in the Winter Garden.
