Deloraine is the nearest town to Twinkle Tree B&B and has a variety of shops, Woolworths supermarket, chemists, ATM's, cafes, butcher, a news agency, arts & craft stores, clothing and Op shops. There is a local Tourist Information Centre & Service Tasmania shopfront as well as a post office and library.
Deloraine is a 15 - 20 minute drive from Twinkle Tree B&B. It has a choice of 4 pubs to grab dinner and a couple of cafes and takeaway shops for food. There is a Woolworth's supermarket to get your groceries.
Enjoy a walk around the beautiful river and if you're lucky you'll get to see one of the local resident platypus'.
In November Deloraine hosts a 4 day Arts & Craft Fair, the largest in Australia. There are a few art & craft stores to stroll through and pass the time.
