Canoe
If you are looking to get away and experience nature, Canoe and Trail Outpost is the place for you. Our operation is in service seven days a week beginning in March thru December yearly. Floating the Bogue Chitto River and Magee's Creek we offer rentals that include canoeing, kayaking and tubing.

Fishing
Bass anglers report the bite is good early & late in the day using mainly soft plastics either Texas or Carolina-rigged and fished along main lake points in 5 to 10 ft. of water.

Park
Holmes Water Park is located in the middle of Tylertown and meandering along the sandy banks of scenic Magee's Creek is the paved walking trail known simply as "The Trail of Seven Bridges". The Children's Playground is adorable and open all year. From Thanksgiving day until New Year's Eve the park comes alive from 6pm to 8:30pm with the largest display of Christmas Lights in the area.

Located about 25 miles west of Tylertown and covering 1,700 acres, including beautiful 700 acre Lake Tangipahoa, the park offers a host of activities. 8 mile nature trail & ample shaded picnic & play areas and a 18 hole golf course.
