Take a Whale Watching or Dolphin tour from Huskisson pier! This is a great trip, well organised and great fun. The dolphins often "guide" the boat along, playing in the water around the boat. There are about 60 dolphins in the Jervis Bay pod, and sometimes, you can see a few of them from the shore, or the pub, whilst you dine.

This is a small township set on the banks of St Georges Basin. There are great walks along the shores of the Basin, and a wonderful place for photographers too. This town is one of those towns in Australia, where kangaroos really do bounce along the streets at dawn and dusk. Seeing the joeys in their mothers' pouches is marvelous.

BIrd-watching is for every amateur Twitcher!
There are myriads of beautiful birds in this area, and if you are keen, you will be able to spot many of them along the various walks, eg, White Sands Walk. However, Booderee National Park is also a must for bird-watchers - apart from fairly common species, you may be lucky to see some of the rarer ones, and migratory birds.
