Three Tuns Pub. Probably the most interesting menus in the village and our local a 5 min walk away. Atmospheric thatched coaching inn with real ales and cider made locally in our lane. A wedding and event venue. Patio and large garden.
Crown Inn. Part of a chain and more a restaurant than a pub with outdoor seating and garden. In the centre of the village 5 mins walk from Little Granton.
Colin Nash@ The Retreat. A restaurant opened by the former chef of the Three Tuns. Colin's food is exceptional. He runs a cookery school on the premises and teaches at local catering colleges. It's a 10 min drive away.

A Fullers Family Pub, the 'Chippies' is a friendly, relaxed, unpretentious local with a sports TV. There is a cavernous restaurant where home cooked food caters for all dietary conditions. But for atmospheric summer dining, an outside decked area was built during Covid lockdown and is well worth a visit on a summer evening. Servings are generous and good value. The Carpenters is justly famous for its pies!

Park the car and see the New Forest from an open-top bus. Three routes which interlink. Get on and off at will all day. Cycles carried free. One of the best ways to explore the varied areas of the Forest in a relatively short time.
