Salt Rock Beach is the main beach in Salt Rock. Ample parking even during busy times you are bound to find a parking bay. The beach is protected with shark nets and lifeguards are on duty. Salt Rock tidal pool is a short walk away if you are not so keen or brave to hit the waves.

Tiffany’s Beach, has very little parking available. Very popular for scuba divers and surfers. Wind surfing/boarding hotspot. Not a good swimming beach, because of the proliferation of rocks.

Rock pools are in abundance and while there are no lifeguards most little coves are well protected.
This beach still has a touch of wildness.
These beaches are frequented mostly by divers, fishermen and Sheffield residents walking their dogs.

Thompson’s Bay can be found just north of Ballito. This extremely popular beach has both qualified lifeguards and shark nets to ensure the safety of the swimmers. Also found at Thompson’s Bay is Charlie’s Pool, a large tidal pool providing safe swimming conditions for both young and old alike.
