Before you leave

You will need your own transport (car) to get to and around Beech Forest and the Otways. Many of the local roads are unsealed and can get slippery in wet weather so please take care. Make sure you bring your food and drinks with you as only limited supplies are available in and around Beech Forest. Nestled so close to the rainforest, it rains a lot. Bring sturdy shoes or boots, a rain jacket and shoes for inside. Ugg boots are a must in Winter!
