Small, friendly village with a coffee shop by the beach, and a chip shop and pub on the village square. A new village shop should be open by November 2024. There is also a restaurant at The Three Rivers Hotel, and another coffee shop at Calon y Fferi. Carmarthen Bay Ferries run a gorgeous little ferry across the estuary to Llansteffan and offers seasonal sightseeing trips.

Llandeilo is a popular shopping destination with visitors and locals alike. They are drawn because Llandeilo is refreshingly lacking the ubiquitous chain stores that are a staple in many other British towns. Instead, Llandeilo boasts a great selection of independent traders and quirky antique shops. Shopkeepers take the business of window-dressing very seriously here and there’s often competition for the most elaborate and unique seasonal displays.
Food and drink is well covered with places like The Cawdor, Pitchfork and Provisions and Heavenly.
