Public transit options into NYC other than driving or ferry
You have a few to choose from. 1) the NJ Transit bus will take you into Port Authority bus station (Midtown NYC). There is a stop along Harbor Blvd (you can take in great skyline views while you wait for it to come). There is another stop on 19th street which may be faster and come more often. Download the NJ Transit app to get route schedules and buy bus fare. 2) Light Rail to Hoboken station and then PATH train into NYC (33rd st or Wall St station). Light Rail tickets can be purchased through the NJ Transit app. For PATH, you will need to get a MTA metro card which can also be used in NYC.
