Bogus Basin Recreation Area is located sixteen miles north of the city of Boise. Open primarily for wintertime skiing but also summertime mountain biking and hiking, Bogus is loved by all Boiseans. Beginners and experts alike will enjoy the wonderful outdoor escape just a short drive from town.

Every year over 125,000 people enjoy a leisurely float down the Boise River, floaters put in at Barber Park and take out at Ann Morrison Park.
