I mean wow personally I'm not a religious man, but walking through the Cathedral is awe-inspiring. The shear history of this place is breath taking.
You need time to truly explore this amazing building and grounds. Talk to the guides and be inspired.

Entertainment
We take our children here every year for the pantomime, it's great the size of the venue, the design and atmosphere for every performance is involving.
My self and my wife have seen a few performances here and are always impressed.

OK so this is not for everyone. I love films and I love going to the cinema.
The Curzon in Canterbury for me is perfect. It's not like a normal cinema where you are headed in like cattle sat shown then shoved out the door.
The Curzon is an experience. A friendly greeting always a bar for drinks and nibbles seating area with great sofas for early attendees.
Then in the screen wonderful comfy sofa style seats to watch the film of your choice its amazing.
