Fantastic Cornish town, many restaurants, takeaways and cafes. The beaches around Bude are famous for being the best in the UK. There are pedal boats to go on, a sea pool for swimming, a large beach, pubs, and a supermarket.

Renowned surfing beach, with it's long stretches of sand, this beach caters for dogs one side and non dogs the other side. There are a few pubs and cafes in this area too, close to the beach. Parking is reasonably priced and close to the beach. It's great for families also and life guarded during then main months.

There is also an Ancient Castle to view, and a lovely river walk. The drive to Launceston is very scenic. it's about a 20 mins drive.

Holsworthy is a smaller town with a few select shops, a petrol stations and a few nice pubs. There are also a few takeaways here including a chinese, a kebab shop, and a local cafe providing breakfasts, and a takeaway service. There is also a waitrose here too.

Whitstone is our local village, it has a lovely Spar shop that sells locally produced meats along with other household items. It has some hot food including burgers, pasties, sausage rolls, sandwiches, and hot dogs.

Fantastic Pub serving great food, locally sourced meat and veg. Close to our campsite, this is a great choice for a family looking to eat out. Please ensure you phone ahead to book as they somtimes get very busy
