If you are renting a car or driving your own vehicle during your vacation, Wawa tends to have the best gas prices. There are several located off of US 19 and I 275.

How To Avoid Traffic On Interstate Roads
Try avoiding I 275 during the hours of 9am to 10am and 4 pm. Also try avoiding 34th ST (US 19) during these times as well. If you plan go to Clearwater Beach, get there EARLY to avoid high parking prices (or take Uber).

Do NOT purchase things like sunscreen, cases of beer/alcohol, snacks on the beaches directly or the shops near the beaches. They mark up the prices significantly! Consider buying all these items away from the beach before you travel to the beaches. 😀
