Nolton Haven is a small, fairly sheltered cove, nestled in the quaint and peaceful village of Nolton.
The beach is quiet and unspoilt, made up of sand and shingle - younger ones, don’t forget to pack your net and bucket - you’ll have hours of fun checking out the many rock pools.
Swimmers should take care, as there are strong currents off Nolton Haven. If you are planning a visit, check out the tide times to make sure you’ve plenty of beach to play on and that you don’t get cut off by the incoming tide.

The beach faces north-west, and offers shelter from the prevailing southwesterly winds. In the past, coal mined locally was shipped from Little Haven in small sailing vessels. Today, the village just behind the beach provides a shop, cafe and several pubs and the neighbouring resort of Broad Haven to the north has further shops and services. At low tide it is possible to walk across the beach to Broad Haven although care must be taken to avoid the incoming tide.The village hosts the RNLI inshore lifeboat station.

Broad Havens westerly facing sandy beach offers excellent conditions for kite-surfing, kite-buggying, windsurfing and surfing. There is a car park at the southern end of the beach opposite Haven Sports and a larger car park a small distance from the beach at the North End of the bay.

Newgale has a great stretch of sandy beach - a surfers paradise, with a dramatic bank of pebbles, that looks down onto the shoreline.

Cwm-yr-Eglwys is a small beach on the eastern side of Dinas island. Overlooking the beach lie the ruins of St Brynach's church which was destroyed in the great storm of 1859. A level wheelchair-friendly path leads to the neighbouring beach of Pwllgwaelod along the sheltered Cwm Dewi valley, which is rich in wildlife. The beach is mostly covered at high tide, and is generally safe for swimming and snorkelling

Regular boat trips run from Tenby harbour to Caldey Island. This is a conservation area owned by the Cistercian Order and has an active monastery. Nesting seabirds including Puffins can be seen on the tip of the island.
Fun, pedal and banana boats can be hired from Tenby Harbour Beach along with mackerel fishing and paragliding trips.
The Tourist Information Centre is located next to the multi storey car park and there is a Visitor Centre by "Five Arches", one of the gateways into the old town.
