Frederiks bar and brasserie is worth a visit just for the fantastic view over the Loughor estuary. But its also a great place for a coffee or a drink, with a good food menu (check kitchen opening hours though)

Our favourite restaurant, in the heart of Carmarthenshire about 45 minutes from the cottage. It’s very laid back but a first class place to enjoy good local food. The “lunch for a squeezed middle” is excellent value. Book ahead though, its busy.
