Love them or hate them, the WWII bunkers that dot Santocha bay are now a veritable icon of the Capbreton. They certainly add a moody atmosphere to the surf spot that’s here. Formed by the big jetties that jut NW into the ocean, the breaks are left and rights. Nice beach walk leads to the lighthouse where starts a boardwalk of fish restaurants.
