Only ten minutes drive to the quirky regenerated Richmond Station - with two cinema screens, a restaurant and café-bar, an art gallery, a heritage centre, a number of rooms for public use, and a range of artisan food-producers - including a very well loved local ice cream stand.
If that’s not enough, you can enjoy the fabulous Easby Abbey loop walk, enjoying the river all the way - approx 1 hour.
