The park is only one mile walk if you use the large gate just to the south of the driveway. Don't lose the bolt and don't leave the gate open. Close it behind yourself and you are .03 of a mile closer than if you walked out the front door!

Neighborhoods
There is something to do downtown every day! Whether it is a parade or a pancake breakfast or a ton of great shops and bars to visit, there is a lot to do to fill a day or two off the park. Wednesday is Cheyenne Day where all the local residents get half the day off to watch the air show and go celebrate our community. There is a large number of folks who go visiting bar to bar downtown on that Wednesday. Its considered a local holiday, my daughter says.

Parking anywhere near the park is a NIGHTMARE! If you do not want to walk the 1 mile to the park from the house, there is a pick up lot just behind us in the Central High School parking lot on Education Drive. The bus will take you right to the front gate. Those busses take a long time when the concert is over.
