This place has really great birria! If you haven’t tried it- this is a great place to start. It’s kind of like a beef stew/consomé but with a hit of spice. It’s perfect for dipping quesadillas 🤤
This place is one of my go to lunch spots when I’m working from home. One of my go to’s when I don’t feel like cooking.
Their steak burrito is awesome.

Best restaurants
All of these places are about 20 minutes away by car/Uber.
Nataly and I both worked here as servers in 2013 and have loved it ever since. The chef and his family are great friends of ours and everything they make has amazing traditional Mexican flavor. Definitely recommend getting a shrimp and steak taco.

Hands down the best place for pho in Minneapolis. I’d recommend this before heading to the walker art center as there are limited options near there. The vermicelli bowls are sooo good!

Great place to try a Juicy Lucy! (Cheese burger where the cheese is cooked between two beef patties). Obama ate there back in the day.

The wings!! Our brother loves this dive bar so much. Cheap beer by the pitcher and meaty spicy wings. Every time he’s in town we head there to kick off the weekend.
