Ask questions, including directions to people and they will help you. Just ask where to go, best places in town to visit, and what is unique, including myself :)

Your vechile is the fastest and Uber/Lyft.
Cheyenne does not have much traffic on the roads including on US-85 and Interstate-80; even going to Greeley, Colorado on US-85. If you want to enjoy the nightscene and consume alcohol an Uber/Lyft is best and they are available.

Frontier Days and Downtown
Do not miss going downtown, especially to the Cheyenne Depot. This is a very unique site. Also, don't miss the State Capital and the Western Musem.
During the summer months enjoy a free concert at the plaza near the depot with various beverage vendors. Also, during the summer checkout the Cheyenne gunslingers, a comedy Old West shootout show!
If you are staying during the Frontier Days be sure to obtain tickets early for shows and the rodeo.

Even during the summer, nights can be chilly going down into the 50s. During the winter months be sure to bring a heavy coat, hat, gloves and winter clothes.
