Birds Hill has a low entry fee, and you can enjoy the beach, play structures, campgrounds, and walkways in the nature.

The bus system in Winnipeg is pretty decent, and Uber just launched a short while ago, so that is also an affordable option.

Winter pack tips
In the winter, shamelessly pack overalls, or really warm Snow pants if you are going to do any sort of outdoor activity. We have a record low winters, and record hot summers. So please pack with this in mind if you plan to do any walking. You won’t be the only one wearing snow pants.
