Live music, cocktails and bowling ALWAYS go together at the Mid-City Lanes Rock N Bowl. It's been around forever, relocated from Carrollton & Tulane to Carrollton & Earhart after the levees broke, so if you haven't been in years, don't get confused!

Located close to our place off Broad and Esplanade, I've become a believer in the Church of Yoga! It's very different from Freret Street Yoga, with live music nights, and other interesting ways to practice! Give it whirl! The folks are very welcoming and fun!

Faubourg St. John neighborhood

This link shows many highlights in our sweet neighborhood! If you're coming to New Orleans to kick back and relax, take a look here for some ideas of where to go and what you'll see.
City Park has so much to offer and our place is 3 blocks away.
The New Orleans Museum of Art is lovely! There's a young children amusement called Story Land, an Amusement Park with rides and a historic carousel for kids a little older, a miniature golf course, a new 18 hole golf course, Tad Gormley Stadium (The Beatles played there on their 1st US tour), Pan Am Stadium, workout sites, paddle boats, bayous, flora and fauna of all southern sorts. It's about 10times larger than NYC's Central Park, so there's more... but you'll have to look it up.
