Directions to the river: With the farmhouse behind you, walk down the hill until the buildings are to your left. Turn right onto the track and follow the track to the river. (about 5 min.) Once you reach the causeway you can enjoy the dams on either side, or cross the causeway and take the track about 500m until it ends, and the rapids will be a little way to your right. You can cross over the rocks at the rapids and turn back to the house leaning right, or take the footpath along the river. Reaching more pools continue left of the river until you see the Kloofwaters boundary sign. Take a sharp left to continue up the mountain. Enjoy this hike!
