A delicious and romantic French restaurant in town. The patio is exceptionally romantic and a must if the weather is right. The food is on point. A great spot for brunch if you want to experience it in a more casual setting.

We like to order the half priced sushi that’s available before 6pm daily. The best quality for your price in town. We’re vegetarian and they are very accommodating substituting vegetables in place of the fish in our order.

We’ve personally never experienced as the menu hasn’t been very conducive to vegetarians. I would recommend making a reservation as it’s frequently booked. Another husband wife spot that merges Filipino and Cuban cuisine that our friends absolutely love.

Sightseeing
A 15 minute drive and wonderful experience in Chicago, a free zoo (albeit parking). Parking inside the lot is a minimum of $35, it if you’re driving and up for the walk look for free parking in front of the Peggy Notebart Nature Museum about a 5-10 minute walk away. If you’re on a time crunch I would highly recommend hitting the big cats, monkeys and gorillas and then head north to the Regenstein African mammal house.
