In the barrio San Francisco the restaurant El Zucio never fails to have tables outside in the charming square . ( closed Wednesday)
It is the sister restaurant of Casa Ortega in plaza Socorro and brings an understated elegance to the square .
The menu is traditional and simple however the ingredients are excellent and fresh. The tomato salad is presented skinless and with a quality single variety olive oil pressed just for them .
Artichokes or asparagus, when in season are a delight and the fish baked in salt a perfect lunch.
