New Quay has 2 small beaches.
One has a refreshment kiosk (in the high season) and is a dog free beach. This beach has a cordoned off swimming area and life guards (in the high season)
On the other beach dogs are allowed.
Both are great for swimming and water sports.

New Quay Beach
New Quay has 2 small beaches.

This beach has cafes nearby and some parking. In the high season it is best to park in the car park 500m back up the road in a farmers field (easily signposted) and there is a mini-bus shuttle service to the beach.
The beach is split down the middle with dogs allowed on one side.
It has life-guards in the high season.
Great for surfing when the waves are right.
When the tide is low there is a second beach which you can also access over the cliff top (steep steps involved)

Llangrannog Beach
B4321This beach has cafes nearby and some parking. In the high season it is best to park in the car park 500m back up the road in a farmers field (easily signposted) and there is a mini-bus shuttle service to the beach.
The beach is split down the middle with dogs allowed on one side.
It has life-guards in the high season.
Great for surfing when the waves are right.
When the tide is low there is a second beach which you can also access over the cliff top (steep steps involved)

Poppit Sands Beach

There is also a beach between Cei Bach and New Quay which is a long sandy beach that is also a dog beach. It has parking in a wooded area and then a short 50m walk down a footpath to access the beach. Parking can be found at SA45 9SJ

This is a dog beach all year round.
